Por que se deben utilizar portateclados ergonómicos? Porque la altura a la que se debe escribir en el teclado, no es la misma a la que se escribe convencionalmente. Principalmente porque el movimiento de nuestras manos no es el mismo y el peso de nuestros brazos reposa sobre nuestras manos, hace que se dañen los nervios, como por ejemplo el mal del Túnel Carpiano.

Keyboard/Mouse Support, Fully Adjustable

Attaches to a surface and holds a detached keyboard. It has horizontal, height, and tilt adjustments, and swivels for easy storage beneath the surface. An indicator displays your keyboard height and angle, so if someone moves your keyboard, you can easily move it right back to where you want it.

The tray tilts over a 15-degree range (0 degrees to -15 degrees). The arm extends 10- 3/8 inches and has a height range of 8-3/8 inches. The mouse tray mounts on either side of the platform to fit both right- and left-handed users.

Keyboard/Mouse Support, Adjustable

Attaches to a surface and holds a detached keyboard. Swivels for easy storage beneath the surface. The tray tilts over a 30-degree range (-15 to +15 degrees). The arm extends 8-1/2 inches and has a 6-inch height range.

Plastic and molded urethane trays are available with steel mechanism. The molded urethane tray has an integral foam rest, standard mouse tray, and mouse house. Can be used with a standard keyboard or with a Microsoft Natural ergonomic keyboard. The platform and mouse tray are covered in urethane and include an integral foam palm rest.

Keyboard Tray, Adjustable

Injection-molded tray attaches to a surface and holds a detached keyboard. With horizontal, height, and tilt adjustments, it also swivels for easy storage beneath the work surface. Mechanism is made of steel. Knob or paddle adjustment; the paddle option is appropriate for individuals with limited grasping ability.

Add-On Tray

You can add extra support to your keyboard tray for placing items—mouse, C2 climate control, or other input device—at your fingertips. Attaches to a keyboard support or keyboard tray and has a "mouse fence," which keeps the mouse from sliding off the surface when the keyboard is in a negative tilt. Can be used for left or right mousing. Black plastic. 9-1/4-inch diameter.

Sit-to-Stand Keyboard Support

Keyboard support with 12-1/2-inch height adjustment range to adapt to sitting or standing users without knobs or levers. Soft-touch wheel provides independent tilt adjustment, -20 to +10 degrees. Support swivels for easy storage beneath the surface.

Three models available: concave platform (for concave work surface); concave platform with notched corners (for corner work surface); platform with palm rest and mouse tray. Concave platforms have wider surfaces. Routed edges make the platforms easy to grasp and move. All hold keyboard and mouse.

Palm Rests

Add a soft, rounded edge that reduces contact stress and prevents wrists from dropping to a backward-bent position while keying. Can be used with the Scooter stand with input-device platform or sit-to-stand keyboard support; also attach to the front edge of a fully adjustable keyboard tray.

Flex-Edge Input Platform

Flex-Edge provides a comfortable resting place for wrists, hands, and forearms during long hours of computer work. This adjustable platform attaches to a corner work surface with an input platform cutout. A flexible waterfall front edge supports your arms when you're keying or writing.

The pneumatic assist mechanism lets you adjust the platform from 8 inches below the rear work surface to 7 inches above it. Platform tilts 15 degrees forward and 15 backward.

Creates a corner work surface. Attaches to two work surfaces at a 90-degree angle; can be used with Action Office and Ethospace systems and with Vivo interiors.

Scooter Stand with Input Device Platform

The Scooter stand is an extra surface for your workspace. An extra surface that scoots easily to right where you need it to go and then scoots underneath your work surface when you need it to be out of the way. It holds a keyboard and external mouse or a laptop. It also works nicely as a bookstand and lunch table, and it stores under your work surface when not in use. It also massages your feet. Scooter Stand with Wood Top

Want a mobile, adjustable, convenient platform with a little extra in the looks department? The Scooter stand with wood top comes with a keyboard tray in solid cherry, ash, or ebony.

The base is 24 inches wide x 14 inches deep. Tray is 12-3/4 inches by 28 inches. It adjusts in height from 22 inches to 30 inches and has a tilt range of 20 degrees.
